Race Two Rundown – NZSBK: Round Five, Manfield Raceway

Race Two, the final Supersport race of the NZSBK season, has now finished after an eventful start to the race, including two red flags.  The first race restart was caused after a crash by Sam Love at the hairpin after fighting with Midge Smart and Jaden Hassan.  The next red flag and race restart was a result of Dennis Charlett and Karl Morgan crashing.

Once the racing was back underway, John Ross managed to get up to second place until he lost the front in turn one.  He was able to jump  back on the bike and get racing again, slotting back in at sixth place where he remained as he finished the race.  Glen Skachill won the final race of the season on his GSXR600 Suzuki.

The overall winner of the NZSBK Supersport Championship is Dennis Charlett, also on a GSXR600 Suzuki, with John Ross coming a respectable second overall.
