ABOUT US

Restorace Motorcycles was created sometime way back in 2010 by motorcycle mechanic and motorbike enthusiast, Aden Cartwright.

After spending three years in Melbourne, soaking up everything motorcycle related in the motorsport-mad city, Aden returned to New Zealand and kicked off Restorace Motorcycles in West Auckland.

Aden is a fully qualified motorcycle mechanic, with vast experience on a wide range of brands and eras.  He has been factory trained in Ducati, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Aprilia and Triumph motorcycles.  He also has experience in Moto Guzzi, Vincent, Velocette and Ducati Bevels, and loves restoring bikes to their former glory.

Aden is a very well respected motorcycle mechanic and known as a perfectionist when it comes to his work.  He treats every bike he works on as he would his own, and goes the extra mile to ensure every job that leaves his workshop is completed to a very high standard.  Check out some of the great testimonials from our happy customers here or read our reviews on Facebook here!

Aden is the man to see for suspension set up and tuning, and he specialises in road race suspension and performance tuning, including cylinder head porting and modification, cam timing, gear box upgrades, engine balancing and blueprinting. He also covers all of the general workshop services, repairs, maintenance, restorations, modifications and tyres.

Restorace is also the proud sole distributor of Bitubo Race Suspension in New Zealand.

While living in Melbourne, Aden worked as Head Mechanic for AARK Racing, a race team in the Australian Supersport series, where he earned the respect of many and had a great success in 2010 with the team finishing 2nd in the championship.

Since returning to New Zealand, he has remained involved in the racing scene.  He assisted talented young kiwi rider Connor London at the first round of the European Junior Cup (EJC) in Aragon, Spain in 2013.  He also supported Christchurch rider John Ross in the NZSBK series, who was the Supersport Champion for both 2013 and 2014.  In the 2015 series, Aden expanded his support to provide technical assistance to a number of riders competing in the premier classes.

Aden continues to provide technical support and advice to numerous riders in the New Zealand Superbike series.

Motorcycles are his passion and he has a continual thirst for knowledge – which means if he isn’t working on a bike you can bet he will be reading, researching or talking about them!
